The Insects.org website is edited by insect enthusiast Dexter Sear and is published by web design company I/O Vision, of Boise, Idaho, USA. The website contains a wealth of scientific, cultural, and educational information about insects.

The website is organized into four main sections: Entophiles, Cedigest, Class:insecta, and Entolinks which is an annotated directory of insect links. The Entophiles section contains macrophotography of insects, with descriptions. There are more than 100 illustrated articles, grouped into the following categories: Flies, Lacewings & Antilons, True Bugs, Mantids, Walking Sticks, Mayflies, Butterflies & Moths, Beetles, Cicada Hoppers & Aphids, Cockroaches, Grasshoppeprs & Crickets, and Dragonflies & Damselflies. 

The Cedigest section contains articles exploring the role of insect enthusiasts in culture. Topics include: Butterfly Designs as Family Crests in Japan, Moth Cocoon Artifacts, and Chinese Cricket Culture.
 
The Class:insecta section contains educational material relevant to insects, including an article on Butterfly Wing Patterns, and another on Insects on Stamps.
