ABOUT 'COCKTAILS CENTRAL'
The Cocktails Central website, which is based in the UK, gives recipes for more than 200 cocktails, based on Vodka, Gin, Whisky, Bourbon, Brandy, White Rum, Dark Rum, Tequila, and Southern Comfort.
The website provides two ingenious ways of searching this database of cocktail recipes. In both cases there is a menu of ingredients, including Spirits, Mixers, Wines, Liqueurs, and Miscellaneous covering Grenadine, Angostura Bitters, Tabasco, Worcester Sauce, Coconut Cream, Cream and Egg.
The first search method allows you to check one or more ingredients, and produces a list of those cocktails which include all the specified ingredients. The more ingredients are checked, the less likely that a cocktail will be found.
The second search method allows you to check those ingredients which you have to hand, and produces a list of those cocktails which can be made from one or more of those ingredients.
